This is a vital time in a young person’s faith journey and you want to do whatever you can to support them. The best way to disciple and mentor them is to get alongside them so that they can talk about their relationship with Jesus and the leader can listen, encourage and model how they keep growing in their faith. A young person should not do this alone but get together very regularly as they learn to walk with Jesus, read the bible, pray, listen to God and begin to live differently.
